You can check for Photo Mechanic updates either manually or automatically. Launch Photo Mechanic and navigate to Help> Software Update...
If the checkbox next to Check for Updates is selected, Photo Mechanic will automatically check for updates at the frequency you've chosen. Otherwise, Photo Mechanic will only search for updates when you select the Check Now button.
Note: Perpetual licenses of Photo Mechanic purchased on or after March 11 2024, include all updates that are released within one year of the license key's activation date.
