    Set the preferences if you have any GPS (Global Positioning System) data that you wish to associate with your photos for reverse geocoding. Reverse geocoding is taking a GPS location and converting it to a readable location name. For example, the location 45.50511 -122.67503 is readable as Paris, France. 


GPS Latitude/Longitude format: Specify the location data format from your camera or GPS logging device. Supported formats are:

  • dd.dddddº (Decimal Degrees)
  • ddºmm.mm' (Degrees and Decimal Minutes)
  • ddºmm’ss"  (Degrees, Minutes and Seconds)

Units for GPS distance: Specify miles, kilometers, or nautical miles

Reverse Geocoding Language: Your preferred language for location names.
