If you are using a computer running macOS and can't see your external drives or memory cards (they may appear but don't expand) in the navigator column of contact sheets, or you have trouble ingesting from cards, you may need to make some changes in the macOS System Preferences/System Settings. macOS Ventura and subsequent macOS's require more permissions to allow some apps, including Photo Mechanic, full access to storage devices. We recommend granting Full Disk Access to Photo Mechanic to resolve permissions issues.
