A Live Slide Show works like a slightly simplified variation of the Slide Show view, except that instead of using a selection of images from the contact sheet view, images come from a folder. Photo Mechanic will monitor the folder and display new images as they arrive.
Try Live Slide Shows for tethered shooting or during especially long imports of multiple files.
To create a Live Slide Show, navigate to File> Live Slide Show or use the keyboard shortcut of command-shift-L (macOS) or control-shift-L (Windows.)
With Live Slide Shows, you can choose to edit photos using keyboard shortcuts, and you can choose whether or not to redisplay photos.
